Services / Programmes offered

Counselling:
We offer counselling which is confidential with registered ACC counsellors, we cover a wide range of issues, sexual abuse, physical, emotional abuse, grief & loss, separation and cultural identity.

Rangatahi Whaka Oho:
This is a six week group for youth that have been violent or who have experienced violence or who are at risk of offending, these groups run throughout the year for six weeks during school terms.

Wahine Whakaoho:
This is for women that want to meet with other women who have experienced some form of abuse or violence, women can also be violent and this is often really hard to talk about. Wahine Whakaoho runs through out the year, each programme is for six weeks four times a year.

Whanau Pathways:
A Whanau pathway is for the whole family who want to break cycles of abuse and make a safer home for themselves and their children. The pathway is about your aspirations as a whanau. Our children / youth derive their self‑esteem from their family. Whanau Pathways are for four two hour sessions facilitated by two facilitators offering a visual pathway of your goals, issues, barriers within the area of family violence.

Maori Youth Contestable:
We work with youth that have had a youth justice and care and protection conference, all referrals must be requested from a Child Youth Social Worker to our service. Services offered: ‑ Cultural Identify, Mentoring, One on one counselling, weekly group monitoring, reducing offending, family pathways, whanau support, educational referrals, psyche assessments, wananga and developing whanau / iwi connections.
