Meet The Team

Our Optometrists

John Tarbutt
John purchased the established practice in 1977. His aim continues to be for Tarbutt Optometrists to ensure comprehensive and best quality eyecare for all patients.

Linda Tarbutt
Linda joined the practice in 1979. As well as providing optometry to all, she specialises in low vision care for those with reduced vision.

Sonya Jefferies

Sonya joined the practice in 1988. She has a wide range of knowledge in all aspects of optometry and is also a qualified Therapeutic Optometrist.

Susanne Bruder

Susanne joined the practice in 2003 from the UK where was a hospital optometrist. She has a special interest in children's vision and contact lenses and currently does paediatric optometry sessions at Waikato Hospital.
