We have now gone from a hot dry summer to a wet cool summer.  It means we save heaps on our water bill and the orchids up the trees are loving it. 

Our laelia anceps and oncidium flexuosum are coming into bud way earlier than what they should be.  Cattleya intermedia and Laelia purpurata are now finished and cattleya forbesii, loddegesii, guttata are all in flower now.

We have a great range of plants for everyone.  Flowering orchids, bromeliads, epiphyllums, natives, perennials, trees, shrubs, compost, potting mix, coloured pumice, bark etc.

Trade-me is doing well with customers all over New Zealand purchasing plants.  New things are being entered onto it every week with plenty of interest out there.  We have now relisted some new orchid flasks on trade me.  We also offer a deflasking service for our own flasks.

On the mail order side of the business we try to keep the courier costs down.  One way of achieving this is to fill the box.  This can be achieved by either winning more auctions, or emailing us and asking for suggestions of other plants.

We have many other plants which would make great box fillers i.e. seedling bromeliads, hoyas, epiphyllums etc.  For our cheapest p&p which is a $6 box we can usually get 4-6 plants into it depending on the size.

We also belong to Bartercard which is another great way of doing business.  If any of our customers are members we look forward to hearing from you.

We do free local delivery to Kawerau, Awakeri, Whakatane township, Matata township and Edgecumbe for larger or heavier items.

We are closed on a Monday and Tuesday but we will open by appointment.
