Welcome to the Pottering About Garden Centre.

Pottering About Garden Centre is located in the sunny Bay of Plenty in New Zealand on Military Road, SH34, Otakiri, in the Whakatane District.

We specialise in Orchids and have a great selection to choose from; in fact too many to list here so if there is something you are looking for please let us know. 

 Along with our  Orchids we specialise in Tropical and Semi Tropical Plants which can be grown outside in the Bay of Plenty area. We have Bromeliads, Palms, Succulents, Trees, native trees etc.

 We have a selection of  Bark, Compost,  general potting mix,  garden mulch, bromeliad and succulent mix, and coloured pumice.

Also, we stock neem oil, neem granules, vaporguard, rainguard, Magic Botanic liquid, sphagnum moss, and magic moss .  These are all products we use ourselves and find them all excellent for our plants.

We are now selling our products and plants on TRADE-ME under potteringabout.  If you type in orchid plant and then go to sellers other listings you will find a list of our auctions.  We know that we cannot list everything we have so if there is something in particular you are after send an email and let us know what you are looking for and we will be happy to do whatever we can to provide what you are after.

We do not do price lists or trade lists.
