Every Pet is catered for, cats, dogs, fish, rodents .our bird toy selection is second to none in Wellington. Again, only the finest quality birdseed and rabbit, guinea pig, rat & mouse food is available. Our vast range of accessories is certain to cater for all your pet's requirements, however if we haven’t got exactly what you want, we'll get it for you, usually by the next day.
Although concentrating mainly on food and accessories we also have kittens (when available), hand reared Rainbow Lorikeets, Cockatiels & Budgies, Goldfish and the occasional litter of pups. If you are after a specific type, or breed of pet that we don't have, we will certainly be able to point you in the right direction.
Owners Murray and Leslie Hill have nearly 10 years experience in the Pet Industry. We also have over 20 years experience breeding, showing and training Rottweilers. Pets are our passion and your pets are as important to us as our own. Pet Essentials most important asset is our staff, in particular our Manager Joye Wu. Joye has several years experience in Pet Retail and has a vast knowledge of all pets and pet nutrition. Birds are her specialty as you can no doubt tell by some of the photos on this site. All our staff are very knowledgeable and only too happy to assist you with any queries you may have.
