The premises are modern, yet retain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They understand that each person is different, has different wants and needs when it comes to dental health, as well as different financial situations, all of which can be discussed at your appointment, Early morning and evening appointments are also available for your convenience.

All dentists at the Newmarket Dental Group are New Zealand qualified and members of the New Zealand Dental Association, with several having held prominent roles within the organisation. Attending continuing education courses yearly ensures the dentists and the hygienists are kept up to date with modern techniques and technology.

The Newmarket Dental Group is one of Auckland's oldest dental practices with a clinic located on the corner of Broadway and Teed Street, Newmarket since 1928. A team of vast experience
The Newmarket Dental Group's dentistry team have vast experience in a wide range of dental areas, and have experience in specialist areas including: advanced reconstructive dentistry, periodontics (gum disease), endodontics (root canal treatment), cosmetics (including crowns, veneers & bleaching), implant dentistry and children's dentistry (while we treat patients aged 2 years ‑ 90 years we are particularly proud of our care of young children!). We also offer both intra‑venous sedation and nitrous oxide (gas) sedation.

Specialists in dental hygiene
Our two dental hygienists are key members of the dental team ‑ both specialise in periodontal (gum) treatment. Each hygienist is specifically trained to help maintain your gum health and keep your teeth clean and healthy so your teeth will stay with you for life.

State of the art sterilization
To maintain the highest standards of hygiene, we've purpose built a state‑of‑the‑art sterilizing facility which utilises the latest ultrasonic cleaners and computerised autoclaves for complete sterilisation of all instruments. Any other items are used only once, and then carefully disposed of.

Continuing education
All our dentists are members of the New Zealand Dental Association, and several have held prominent roles within this organisation. To keep up‑to‑date with changing dental techniques and technology, every dentist exceeds the recommended hours for continuing education programmes each year.

Medical history
It is very important that we have a comprehensive but PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL record of your current medical status ‑ including a record of past medical treatment and drugs being taken. Please let your dentist know if there is any change in your health that may impact on dental treatment.

Office hours
Normal office hours are 7.30am ‑ 6.00pm, but special arrangements can be made in some circumstances.

After hours
We always aim to see our patients after hours in case of emergencies. Your dentist will provide you with his/her contact numbers and the clinic has a recorded message with these numbers if required after hours.

Parking
There is plenty of parking available near the clinic (see map above). If you are having trouble finding a park please talk to your dentist.

Accounts
It is customary for all treatment to be paid for after each visit, unless other arrangements have been made prior. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and can arrange deferred payment plans. If you have any account queries please consult your dentist.
