Putting it right It’s an inevitable fact of life that sometimes, despite our best efforts, disputes arise.
The MTA’s mediation service is intended to address customer grievances with our members quickly, effectively, and fairly.
How it works The process offered by the MTA is mediation, not adjudication. In other words, our job is to help both sides come to an agreement, not to decide for them what should be done.
If after giving our member an opportunity to fix the problem you are still not satisfied you can contact the MTA Mediation Service on 0508 682 633 (0508 MTA MEDE8).
MTA staff will advise and outline the Mediation process, if required the Mediation Service will send out an official MTA Complaint Form. Once received back they will ask our member for a written response and arrange a Mediation meeting for the parties concerned.
Remember This Mediation Service is only available for customers of current financial members of the Motor Trade Association and it can now handle disputes about the purchase or sale of vehicles from MTA members.
