Company Profile
Junction Road Transport Ltd is a locally owned and operated transport company established in 1992. Engaging in General Transport, then in 1998 the largest rear mounted truck crane was built and put into service by Junction Road Transport opening up a whole new era of loading and unloading. In 2000 Junction Road Transport designed and developed a 5-axle rear mounted crane in New Zealand and many others have copied this combination. With the exposure this machine has given and the exclusive work agreements that have been secured has lead to the manufacture of an 8-wheeler crane truck tractor unit/ flat deck and the manufacture of New Zealand's first quad set trombone trailer and a purpose built 4-axle tractor unit.
Junction Road Transport also has a Class 1 and Class 2 load pilot vehicles with certified load pilots within the company.
In 2005 it was agreed that a mobile crane was required for the ever growing Electrical and Construction industry and careful thought derived the company to buy a Grove 80T All Terrain crane. Cranemasters NZ Ltd is a trading name for Junction Road Transport Ltd.
This crane is nimble enough for the smaller jobs but also has the muscle for the big jobs.
