Ice Point manufactures premium cubed Party Ice. Party Ice is a filtered, purified product which meets exacting food safety standards, and is suitable for putting directly into drinks or any application where food or beverages need to be chilled directly. Party Ice is typically supplied in 3Kg retail packs; however, we can also supply it in 20Kg catering packs for bulk requirements.

This is a bulk product designed for preserving meat, fish and other perishable goods in commercial quantities.

The salt content of the ice increases its longevity, and the larger surface area of the flakes makes it ideal for rapidly removing the latent heat from anything it comes in to contact with. The speed with which a perishable product such as fish can be brought close to zero degrees Celsius, and maintained at this temperature, has a dramatic effect on the shelf life of the product.

Ice Point can supply Salted Flake Ice in any volume up to several tonnes, and is ideal for meat processing, commercial fishing, and seafood retail operations. It is also finding new applications in fruit and vegetable packaging, poultry processing and in controlling the heat generated in concrete manufacturing.

Salted Flake Ice is not classed as a food grade product suitable for direct human consumption in terms of our Food Safety Programme, however, care is taken in its manufacture and handling to ensure the product is clean and free from contaminants.
