The Fuji Japanese Restaurant aims to provide a real touch of Japan. Ideally located for business lunches as well as for evening dining. It is busy, but has a typically Japanese atmosphere of serenity. The decor is simple and tasteful.

The menus are not difficult to follow, Japanese food is gentle on the tastebuds. The selection is extensive, but set menus offer those new to Japanese food a variety of contrasting tastes.

At lunchtime the Teppan tables soon fill up. Kimono-clad waitresses scamper around with trays of green tea. Chefs work at the big hotplates.

Teppan dining is ideally suited to group dining parties, and Fuji gives a free posy with every birthday booking of five or more people.

The adjoining sushi bar and dining room is ideally for quieter lunches.

The sushi bar offers simple Japanese dishes such as chirashi sushi, tempura chicken or pork, and udon or soba noodles.

Fuji Japanese Restaurant is fully licensed and open every day from noon to 2:30pm for lunch, and from 6pm to 10:30pm for evening dining. Seating for over 140 people.
