Dunlop Spiral Stairs

Although spiral stairs are beautiful in timber, they can only be used in very specific situations. They are permitted to be used for space saving access to attics, studios, garages, or as a secondary access to other parts of the house. We can make them from 1200mm to 2000mm in diameter. All our spiral stair systems are in a kitset design that may be installed by a competent D.I.Y or builder. Timber spiral stairway with steel balusters individually fitted into treads and into spiral handrail.

This spiral has a curved balcony around the top of the stair. It is finished with a curved handrail and bottom rail to match the timber newel post.

The entrance to this spiral has a feature newel post with a beaded panel inlay on each side.

Aluminium Ladder

Our timber attic ladders are made to order in pine or other hardwood timber. They are three piece and have a folding operation. They come complete with a hatch. On installation, the legs must be cut to suit height. We use locally made hardware, all zinc plated. Artistic Stairs is also a supplier of Aluminium Attic Ladders with access ways.

A solid timber one-piece ladder for permanent fixture can provide easy access to that extra space.
