SHAFT AND LEVER

This system is the most popular within Schools and throughout NZ for it robust yet efficient and cost effective method of opening and closing windows. This system can be Motorised whether Arens or similar Approved Motorised (refer top image where sashes are linked above each other).

FLEXIBLE CABLE
|
The Manual Flexible Cable system consists of a cable surrounded by a compressed spring encased in an aluminium conduit. The flowing lines of the conduit and its versatility can be aligned over large distances and operate up to six sashes. A most cost effective means and alternative for residential dwellings.

ELECTRIC CHAIN OPERATOR
|
|
This versatile electric motor driven system incorporates a chain drive which extends from the control box to the sash drawing the sash in and out. The motor is strong enough to operate two slave units thus driving a maximum of three sashes, opening and closing at the touch of a switch, the motor being 12 volt requires either a transformer, a trickle feed battery supply, or solar cell power source to operate, with low power consumption this unit is very cost effective and is very popular for both skylights, roof domes, and awning windows.

Electric Control Gear is becoming increasingly popular as motors and electrical components become less expensive. Almost all remote control gear can be adapted to these motors which as their name implies are electric motors with a linear thrust available in a number of sizes giving various thrust weights and travel lengths. They run on 230/240 volts. We are able to offer a range of versatile motors to suit most gear.
- Suitable for parallel connections to operate more windows simultaneously.
- Safe operation with push button
- End stroke microswitches and thermal protection in case of overload
- Supplied with 1,5m (5') cable.
- Supplied with end bracket
- Two dovetail slides for an easy installation; sliding bracket to be ordered separately
The Actuators are tested one by one and periodically endurance tests (10.000 cycles) are carried out.
